Nightingale Tribute

In memory of nursing colleagues who have passed away, the American Nurses Association and the Iowa Nurses Association have adopted this tribute to be used in memorial services. A white candle is lit and a white rose is given to the family in memory of the life in service as a nurse. The Iowa Nurses Association will be working with the Iowa Funeral Director's Association to promote this special remembrance.

A donation to the Iowa Nurses Foundation is a wonderful way to remember a beloved nurse.

Your gift to the Iowa Nurses Foundation can help enrich the lives of scores of Iowa residents by giving one individual the chance to become a nurse, to continue study, or conduct research.

Money contributed to INF is used to provide loans and scholarships for students participating in all levels of registered nurse academic programs. INF also provides awards to support nursing research endeavors and attendance at continuing education programs.
