INA Legislative Day Recap

The Iowa Nurses Association (INA) Legislative Day brought together nurses, students, and healthcare advocates from across the state for a powerful day of learning, connection, and advocacy at the Iowa State Capitol. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in educational sessions, learn about key legislative priorities impacting nursing and patient care, and connect with lawmakers to share their experiences and perspectives.

Throughout the day, participants networked with fellow nurses and students, gained insights into the legislative process, and explored ways to become more involved in shaping healthcare policy in Iowa. The event highlighted the collective voice of nurses and the important role they play in influencing policy, advancing the profession, and improving patient outcomes.
